About the Artist: Vijay H. Kothare

Vijay H. Kothare is a Mumbai-based Fine Artist and UX Designer with over 13+ years of industry experience. A proud alumnus of the reputed Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art, he holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Art (B.F.A.A.A.) with a specialization in Computer Graphics & Communication Design.

His art journey began with a love for still-life painting, eventually evolving into a thriving career in user interface and graphic design. What sets Vijay apart is his absolute versatility. He is a multi-disciplinary artist who fluidly transitions between the tactile world of traditional mediums—like oils, acrylics, watercolors, and charcoal—and the precision of modern digital tools, including Procreate, Illustrator, Photoshop, and advanced UI/UX prototyping. He frequently bridges these worlds through innovative mixed-media creations.

Despite his professional success across so many different formats, his philosophy remains deeply rooted in continuous learning. Vijay believes that art takes many diverse forms, and every new style is a chance to create something beautiful. Whether he is designing intuitive digital experiences or expressing himself on canvas, Vijay approaches every project with an eye for creativity and an unyielding enthusiasm for the arts.
